SIS returns under Parliament’s management
After several attempts by opposition deputies to cancel and exclude several bills from the Parliament's agenda, the deputies of PSRM and of the Parliamentary Platform "Pentru Moldova" voted all the projects included for today in the parliamentary agenda. These were not debated in plenary.
Among them is the draft law on the transfer of the Intelligence and Security Service (SIS) from the subordination of the Presidency under parliamentary control. With the vote of 51 deputies from the PSRM faction and the parliamentary platform "Pentru Moldova", the draft law was voted in two readings.
The deputies of PDM, Platform DA and PAS were present in the hall and tried to prevent the approval of these draft laws. They mentioned that these laws endanger the national security of the state and contradict the interests of Moldova.
