Oleg Ţulea about his appointment as ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Hungary

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Oleg Ţulea, announces that he has accepted the assumption of the mandate of Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Hungary, but according to him the consultative opinion of the parliamentary commission for his candidacy for ambassador does not mean immediate leaving. And this is because other procedures are followed according to the Law on the Diplomatic Service.

"Dear friends, I would like to make the following remarks regarding today's decision of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration. I accepted the proposal to take over the mandate of the head of our diplomatic mission in Budapest in order to strengthen the Moldovan-Hungarian partnership. The Parliamentary Committee's advisory opinion on my candidacy for ambassador does not mean an immediate leaving. In this sense, other procedures are followed according to the Law on the Diplomatic Service. These days, we are concentrating with the MFAEI team on the organization and good conduct of the elections for the Moldovan citizens settled abroad ", the minister states in a statement for the media.

We remind that today, the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission approved, in today's meeting, the candidacy of Oleg Ţulea as Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Hungary.
