Border Police: Over 4,800 people have entered Moldova in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, at the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 9,795 crossings. 4,881 crossings were registered on the way to enter the Republic of Moldova, out of which 3,101 crossings at the Moldovan-Romanian border, 817 crossings at the border with Ukraine and 963 crossings by plane, announces the General Inspectorate of Border Police of the Interior Ministry.

At the border crossing points open to traffic, 9,785 people were screened and 4,881 individual epidemiological files were completed. No person showed symptoms of COVID-19 infection.

The officers of the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717), within 24 hours, registered 388 calls from citizens, where they were offered consultations regarding the situation at the state border, the crossing conditions and the risks in the context of the measures applied to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
