Over 6,000 people have entered Moldova in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, at the border crossing points, the flow of people constituted 15,008 crossings. According to the General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Interior Ministry, 6,251 crossings were registered on the way into Moldova, of which 3,636 at the Moldovan-Romanian border, 1,486 at the border with Ukraine and 1,129 crossings by plane.

At the border crossing points open to traffic, 15,008 people were screened and 6,251 individual epidemiological files were completed. At the border crossing, no person showed symptoms of COVID-19 infection (fever, cough, rhinorrhea).

The Border Police also announces that 11 people violated the border area regime, and two foreign nationals exceeded the term of residence on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, two drivers violated transportation rules and five cases of non-compliance with measures for the prevention, prevention and control of epidemic diseases were documented. At the same time, the border police registered an attempt to cross the border with forged documents and an illegal crossing of the state border.

The officers of the Green Line of the Border Police (022 259 717), within 24 hours, registered 330 calls from the citizens and offered consultations on the situation at the state border, the crossing conditions and the risks of spreading COVID- 19.
