COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 560 cases confirmed
In the last 24 hours, 2,743 tests were performed, as a result of which 560 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed. Of the total number of cases, one case is imported from the UK. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), the balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus has reached 41,704 cases.
Out of the total number of cases, 28 are healthcare workers: doctors-9, nurses-13, auxiliary staff-6.
According to the quoted source, 564 people infected with COVID are hospitalized in serious health condition, of which 33 patients are connected to assisted breathing.
Another 512 people were treated and discharged. In all, 29,932 people were treated from COVID-19.
At the same time, MSMPS reports on the registration of ten other deaths caused by COVID-19. The deceased were between 50 and 90 and suffered from several chronic diseases. Thus, the death toll amounts to 1,106 cases.
