COVID-19 in Moldova: Another 501 new cases of infection
Another 501 new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed today in the Republic of Moldova. Of the total number of cases, eight are imported. At the same time, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection informs about the registration of another 13 deaths caused by COVID-19.
The balance of people infected with the new Coronavirus reached 40,556 in our country.
Total tests performed - 2,513, of which primary - 2,297 and repeated - 216.
Out of the total number of cases, 23 are medical workers: doctors - 9, nurses - 12, auxiliary staff - 2 people.
Health status of infected persons: 546 - serious condition, of which 33 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus, 1,342 people are in medium severity, the other patients in satisfactory condition.
Another 384 people were treated and discharged. In total, 28,962 people were treated by COVID-19, and the death toll reached 1,087.
