Chief Commissioner Eugeniu Piterschi, appointed acting Deputy Chief of the General Police Inspectorate
Chief Commissioner Eugeniu Piterschi was appointed acting Deputy Chief of the General Police Inspectorate by an order signed on June 21 by Interior Minister Andrei Năstase.
IGP announces about it in a post on Facebook page. Eugeniu Piterschi continues to perform the duties of Chief of Inspection Directorate of the General Police Inspectorate (IGP).
We remind that in the first Government meeting headed by Maia Sandu, Gheorghe Balan was appointed head of IGP, but after the press wrote that he is the god father of the PPDA leader, Prime Minister Maia Sandu called for this situation to be settled.
