Christmas tree was installed in Soroca
The Christmas Tree was brought today to Soroca and will be decorated in the days to come. Local authorities promised to install Christmas trees in other regions of the town. The Christmas tree will be inaugurated on December 1, and the PM Ion Chicu promised to come to this event, Mesager reports.
The Christmas tree is 18 meters high and has been grown for 40 years in a household in the village of Soloneţ. Residents of Soroca wait for the tree decoration
"It is a beautiful fir tree, and when it is decorated it will be very beautiful", “this year the fir tree is very beautiful and looks quite rich”,”when children come to the inauguration, they will be very happy”, say residents of Soroca.
The local authorities bought the tree for 12 thousand lei.
"This time the height of the fir tree is 18 meters and it cost 12 thousand lei. Traditionally, on December 1, we will inaugurate the Christmas tree. This year we will decorate the fir tree, and around a kind of lit jellyfish, we will make a courtyard for entertaining", said Alexei Pătraşcu, head of the Department of green areas and territory arrangement in Soroca.
Holiday decorations will be soon lit in the center of Soroca and on the main streets.
