Better conditions for children attending Mălcăuţi kindergarten, Soroca

Better conditions for children attending kindergarten in Mălcăuţi village, Soroca district. The canteen of the institution was completely renovated thanks to a financial support provided by the Romanian Government. With the donated money, the sewer system, the ventilation system were changed and new dishes were purchased. According to the local authorities, this is not the first time that Bucharest has extended a helping hand to the people of this commune. Previously, the kindergarten in the village of Dărcăuţi also benefited from support, where a gazebo was built with the money of the Romanian state, reports Moldova 1.

Until recently, the conditions in the kitchen and canteen of the kindergarten were precarious. Employees had to fetch boiler water from a nearby well. Due to the support offered by the Romanian Government, the kitchen was renovated and equipped with the necessary equipment.

In the village of Mălcăuţi, only 200 people live. In order for it not to disappear from the map, the mayor proposed that the locality be provided with all the necessary infrastructure. In this sense, Romania's support was like a light at the end of the tunnel, says the official.

"The sewerage system has been repaired, including the construction of a new boiler and now the children can benefit from very good conditions. For staff, it is much easier in the kitchen, the sewer system works very well. So with small steps, with the help of the European Union, we are moving forward," mentioned Oleg Rozimovschi, mayor of Dărcăuţi.

Currently, the Albinuţa kindergarten from Mălcăuţi village, Soroca district is attended by 13 children.
