Damaged building in Otaci, completely demolished

The damaged building in the town of Otaci was completely demolished. According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the demolition works were completed on November 8, after the workers worked hard for several days, informs Radio Moldova.

"The IGSU General Staff was set up on the spot and managed the demolition actions and works. At the same time, the Rescue and Fire Station from Otaci provided water spraying, which protected the nearby houses from the dust caused by the works. Next, the workers will evacuate the waste. Five dump trucks are involved in the work on site. The situation will continue to be monitored by the representatives of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations ", reported the press officer of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, Liliana Puşcaşu.

We remind you that on the evening of June 19, 2019, part of a 9-level apartment building in Otaci collapsed. The residents of the building were evacuated urgently and thus prevented the tragedy.
