Vladislav Kulminski was appointed Maia Sandu’s foreign policy adviser

The Executive Director of the Chisinau-based Institute for Strategic Initiatives Vladislav Kulminski was appointed Maia Sandu’s foreign policy adviser, Radio Moldova reports.

Kulminski is responsible for foreign policy, strategic planning, including communication with political parties, decision-making and reforms development.

Kulminski worked at the World Bank and was responsible for Moldovan public sector reformation. Subsequently, during the period when Moldova signed the Association Agreement with the European Union, Kulminski became Prime Minister’s senior adviser and headed the internal strategic planning department.

Kulminski developed and implemented conflict resolution programs in the region, including confidence-building programs, and worked as a political expert at the US Embassy and the Embassy of the UK in Moldova.

He graduated from the Maxwell  School of Public Administration in US. Maia Sandu's new adviser is a graduate of the Fulbright and John Smith programs and of the Munich Young Leaders Program.
