PAS reiterates its position on the organization of early elections

PAS announces that it has taken note of the PSRM statement on the political crisis in the country. However, according to them, any discussion on the parliamentary platform must start from the supreme interest of the citizens, and this was clearly formulated by the voters in the last elections.

"On this occasion, we reiterate the position of PAS that the only way out of the political, pandemic and economic crisis in which the Republic of Moldova was brought is to organize early elections. Only a Parliament that will enjoy the full trust of the citizens will be able to offer political stability and invest a professional, honest and efficient government, able to get the country out of the crisis," reads the PAS communiqué.

PSRM President Igor Dodon today asked the country's president, Maia Sandu, to issue a decree appointing the prime minister proposed by the parliamentary majority by March 9th. PSRM also requests a meeting with Maia Sandu.
