Maia Sandu: Any attempt to use administrative resource in local elections to be toughly sanctioned

Prime Minister Maia Sandu, at a cabinet meeting, asked the civil servants and state institutions to prove maximum of responsibility in the organization and holding of the local elections due on 20 October. All those allowing the use of the administrative resource in the local polls will be toughly sanctioned, Radio Moldova reports.

Maia Sandu warned the employees of the state institutions that those who will get involved in the election campaign, during working hours, will be sanctioned.

The Prime Minister called on citizens and the media to report on cases of violation of the law.
