PAS deputy Lilian Carp notified the Prosecutor General's Office

The deputy of the Bloc ACUM, Lilian Carp, made a referral to the General Prosecutor's Office regarding the involvement of some state officials in the sale of the land on which the Romanian Heroes Cemetery in Chisinau is located.

Several acts, which would confirm the alleged illicit transaction, were presented during a press conference by the leader of the ODIP Association, Vlad Bileţchi, who dealt directly with that topic.

"It is very curious who owns the company that bought the land, and I ask Mr. Chicu and Mr. Dodon to tell us its identity. Who is this company that for 13 years buried 14 million euros in 2 hectares of land and has not used them for even a second. From where so much speed, in just a few months to complete all the acts so that this land will no longer become state property,” said Vlad Bileţchi.

"The Republic of Moldova violates several international agreements that provide for the protection of cemeteries and the Republic of Moldova has signed several agreements, including with Romania, regarding the protection of the monuments that have been destroyed and need rehabilitation,” said the deputy Lilian Carp.

Lilian Carp announced that together with the deputy Maria Ciobanu sent a letter to the Government of Romania and to the president Klaus Iohannis to intervene in the rehabilitation of the Romanian Heroes Cemetery in Chisinau.
