Ten cases of electoral agitation and 13 cases of organized transportation of voters to the polling stations. These are just some of the violations which were found by the Promo-LEX Election Observation Mission, which had observers in 608 polling stations in Moldova, reports Moldova 1.

At the same time, Promo-LEX found that there were eight cases of acts of violence and intimidation of voters within 100 meters of the polling station, seven attempts of bribing. In 62 cases, it was allowed to photograph the ballots, thus it was violated the secrecy of the vote. Likewise, the observers found 67 cases of delay by about 10 minutes each of the opening of the polling stations and 10 cases of interruption of the filming of the voting process. In all, the Promo-LEX Election Monitoring Mission found about 500 violations of the Electoral Code.

"In most of the cases, the voters seem to be responsible for the registered incidents, followed by other categories of people and the electoral officials", said Pavel Postică, Promo-LEX program director.

We remind that the first round of the presidential elections took place in Moldova on November 1, and the runoff was held on November 15.
