PLDM withdraws Anatolie Postolachi from Hânceşti uninominal constituency

The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) withdraws Anatolie Postolachi from the race for the new parliamentary elections in the uninominal constituency number 38, Hânceşti. The decision was taken today at the meeting of the Central Permanent Bureau of the formation. Liberal Democrats urge voters in Hânceşti to go to the vote on March 15 and "to elect the pro-European candidate with real chances of winning this election", reports Moldova 1.

"The PLDM does not see the point in continuing the electoral race for the Hânceşti constituency and announces that Mr. Anatolie Postolache is withdrawing from this race. It is a decision made fully by both the candidate and the PLDM as well as the Permanent Central Bureau of the formation,” said Tudor Deliu, PLDM president.

"I made this decision thinking to my native people, so that they could be heard and represented by a worthy person in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. Today I want to thank those who have been with us, and if necessary, I apologize for the decision made today, for those who worked, sent messages and became supportive of us," said Anatolie Postolachi, former candidate for deputy.
