COVID-19 pandemic is affecting the wine sector
The pandemic affects the wine sector. Moldovan producers say that sales have decreased by 80 percent recently, Radio Moldova reports.
This is because the export has been stopped, and the local market achieved small profits. Some winemakers are trying to sell their product online.
Even if they suffer losses this year, representatives of the National Office of Vine and Wine call on winemakers to be patient and not to be discouraged.
