One hundred Centers for Inclusive Education, equipped

Resource Centers for Inclusive Education in one hundred educational institutions in the country have been equipped with teaching-learning materials and specialized equipment for children with special educational needs and disabilities. The total value of the lot is about 19 million lei.

During today's meeting of the Government, the goods were transferred with ownership to the district and municipal administrations. Previously, they had been allocated to district and municipal councils with the right of use.

Distributed lots include IT equipment, audio books, keyboards adapted for visually impaired children; educational software for language development and literacy.

More than 1,700 children with sensory impairments, learning disabilities, dyslexia, autism, Down Syndrome, physical disabilities, communication and other special educational needs benefit from the services of the one hundred centers.

The equipment and materials were purchased as part of the “Education Reform in Moldova” Project, with the financial support of the World Bank.
