Calarasi will renew the public lighting system
More than 30 streets from Calarasi will renew their public lighting systems in the autumn. These are the central arteries of the locality, which will be illuminated in the framework of an energy efficiency program, supported by the European Union, MOLDPRES reports.
According to the project, 900 LED lighting bodies will be installed in Călăraşi, on about 25 km of roads, and the power supply cables will be installed underground. The works will be carried out within the framework of the project "Improving the Public Lighting in Calarasi - Licurici in the heart of Codrii", supported by the EU.
The project will provide a real economy of €6,500 per year, allowing for CO2 emissions reduction and maintenance and operation costs.
