Reason of pride for the inhabitants of Măgdăceşti

Burebista, Mihai Eminescu, Stefan cel Mare, Dacia or Ion Inculet - are street names that have recently appeared in Măgdăceşti locality in Criuleni district, on wrought iron signs. The locals are proud that all 60 streets in their village now have names and signs, are repaired and nicely arranged, which, they say, allows them to feel Europeans, reports Moldova 1.

The locals say that finding an address in Măgdăceşti until now was a big problem.

Street signs have a modern design, are embossed on both sides and are mounted on forged metal posts.

Locals are happy with the quality of newly built and recently repaired roads.

Local authorities also thought to surprise by color, so the tulips were planted on all the streets of the village.

"Every year we aim to build a stretch of road and sidewalk, alongside the sidewalk, to set up a beautiful flowered alley. Everybody passes and admires them, nobody breaks a flower. I set my goal to make Măgdăceşti a clean village, arranged and full of flowers," mentioned the Mayor of Măgdăceşti.

There are almost 6,000 people living in Magdceşti village.
