"Music Horizons": Musical folklore in the north of the country
For those who have not been to the launch event of "Music Folklore in the Northern Republic of Moldova: Violinist Repertoire", signed by the Doctor of Arts and Culturology Nicolae Slabari, the "Music Horizons" show from Radio Moldova comes with details from the event.
The launch took place at the National Library. The collection was funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research. The works included in the book are the fruits of some of the author's research on the field, but also in the Archive of the Folklore Cabinet of the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts.
Nicolae Slabari is Head of the Folklore Archives at the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts, conducts research in the field of fiddler music and conveys the knowledge, experience to the young generation of musicians.
