Heavy rain and floods in Ukraine
Heavy rain followed by floods in western Ukraine. Hundreds of houses were filled with water, and gardens turned into lakes. A local commission started to record the losses suffered by people, Moldova 1 TV reports.
The rescuers helped locals to pump water from house and started rehabilitation works following the floods.
According to the Regional Department of the State Emergency Service, the dam on a river has been partially destroyed, and emergency services are helping to rebuild it.
