A new success for Denis Vieru
Moldovan Judo player, Denis Vieru, triumphed at the Grand Slam in Baku.
Vieru won five victories within the weight category of 66 kg, with Tumurkhuleg Davaadorj (Mongolia), Sunggat Zhubatkan (Kazakhstan), Georgi Zantaraia (Ukraine), Mukhriddin Tilovov (Uzbekistan) and Nijat Shikhalizada (Azerbaijan), according to the National Olympic Committee Sport.
This year, Denis Vieru won the Grand Slam of Paris and the Grand Prix in Antalya.
