More and more cases of influenza are recorded in the country

The number of people who were infected by influenza in April is 18% higher than in the same period of the previous season, the National Agency for Public Health informs. Only during the previous week, there were recorded 15 cases of seasonal influenza, including 2 confirmed by the laboratory, reports Radio Moldova.

At the same time, the number of cases of acute upper respiratory infections decreased. To avoid illness, early detection and treatment of patients with influenza and acute viral respiratory infections, the population is urged to respect personal hygiene, including hand hygiene, avoid contact with people at high risk of infection, and contact the doctor at the onset of the first symptoms of the disease.
