The people who lost their savings from the bank robbery protested again

The people who lost their savings as a result of the bank robbery, which took place in early July at a branch of the Bank of Moldova Agroindbank, protested again. After they chanted in front of the bank's headquarters, they filed a complaint with the Ministry of Finance, the National Bank of Moldova and at the headquarters of the Council of Europe in Chisinau. In response, the bank's administration says the protesters do not respect the previous agreements and will not give in to the pressures, pending the completion of the investigation,Mesager reports .

After filing a complaint with the National Bank of Moldova, the Ministry of Finance and the Office of the Council of Europe in Chisinau, in which they asked the institutions to take an attitude towards this case, the protesters also went to the Government to talk with Prime Minister Maia Sandu.

Contacted by Moldova 1, the Moldova Agroindbank administration claims that her espects the right of protest of the dissatisfied clients, but for a final solution of this case it is waiting for the conclusions of the investigation and the court decision on the case of the theft of July 6.

"The protest is a way of exerting pressure on the bank, but we have no guarantee that the amounts declared are not ghost amounts, and the clients who have not been able to wait for the investigation to be completed can initiate legal proceedings," the bank statement said.

We remind that Moldova Agroindbank created a reward fund with a total value of 1 million lei, to help identify the criminals.
