The underground passage near the airport is in the process of modernization. Workers work, and rehabilitation is in full swing. The underground passage is repaired with the support of the Chisinau International Airport at the initiative of the inhabitants of the area. Passage reconstruction works will be completed in April, reports Moldova 1.
The underground passage near the Airport has not been repaired for decades. Workers have already succeeded in modernizing the walls and stairs, but also to restore the rainwater evacuation system. The people living in the area say the underground passage on Dacia Boulevard was in a deplorable condition.
The underground passage is repaired by the Chisinau International Airport administration, which proposes to install access ramps for people with special needs. The stairs will also be covered with a metal casing and the walls of the passage drawn in graffiti style.
For the reconstruction of the underground passage on the Dacia Boulevard, 1.5 million lei has been allocated.
