Without visas in Tajikistan

Moldovans will still be able to travel without visas to Tajikistan. According to the Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, this regime is governed by the provisions of the Visa-Free Agreement of the Commonwealth of Independent States, concluded on 9 October 1992 in Bishkek. However, lately "there has been a deviation of CIS states from the provisions of this Multilateral Agreement by signing bilateral agreements regulating visa-free reciprocal travel," Radio Moldova News reported.

"On the basis of this project, the citizens of the two countries will have the possibility to enter and leave the territory of the other state without a visa for up to 90 days in any period of 180 days," said the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi.

So far, Moldova has signed bilateral agreements on mutual travel with CIS member states such as the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkmenistan, Armenia. Citizens of the Republic of Moldova can enter without visas in 75 states.
