Security lessons for children from a kindergarten in Chisinau
More than 100 children from a kindergarten in Chisinau were trained by firemen in the field of security rules and proper behavior in the event of fires and earthquakes.
The firefighters showed children a video about the risk situations, they talked about the risk of playing with fire, and about the reluctance to use ignition sources.
Furthermore, children have become familiar with the equipment that the firefighters perform on real missions.
After children learned how to protect themselves at risk, they went to the kindergarten courtyard to explore the techniques of rescue intervention. The firefighters, in an interactive way, have improvised fire extinguishing by draining water from the hoses.
Such training is systematically carried out by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations in the educational institutions in the country, aiming to promote safety and prevent risks among minors.
