The "Doctor for You" campaign will reach more localities in the country
On March 18-22, mobile teams within the "Doctor for You" campaign will continue to offer free consultations to the rural population.
On March 19, endocrinologists, ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists, neurologists and cardiologists will be in the Health Centers of Carpineni and Cotul Morii in Hincesti district and on March 21 in the Bălăneşti Family Doctors' Offices and the Trestieni Valley in Nisporeni.
During this period, the children from the rural areas of the Criuleni district will be consulted free of charge by the dental mobile team.
The inhabitants of the rural settlements in Ialoveni and the beneficiaries of the temporary placement center for disabled people in Balti will be able to perform pulmonary radiography screening, and the women from rural areas from Rezina, Anenii Noi and Cahul districts will benefit from free breast screening services provided by the team of doctors, in mobile vehicles equipped with mobile mammography.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, over 2,350 people benefited from free medical services during the "Doctor For You" campaign, during March 11-15, 480 people were consulted by cardiologists, endocrinologists, otorhinolaryngologists, ophthalmologists and neuroscientists, 571 children were consulted by mobile dentistry, 1,014 people underwent lung screening, 289 women benefited from free breast screening.
