European Town inaugurated in Cahul
The residents of Cahul learned today more about the European Union (EU), the diversity of the 28 member countries and what they have in common. A European Town was inaugurated in Cahul, Mesager reports.
People attending the inauguration of the European Town had the opportunity to learn languages, get acquainted with the cultures, traditions and tourist destinations of European countries and tasted various dishes.
EU Ambassador to Chisinau, Peter Michalko welcomed visitors in several languages.
The event was also attended by Daniela Morari, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the mayor of Cahul, Nicolae Dandis.
Europe Day and ten years of the Eastern Partnership will be celebrated in Cahul on Sunday. Visitors are invited to watch some movies.
