The presidency of Romania at the Council of the European Union was also marked in Chisinau

Romania's presidency of the Council of the European Union was marked in Chisinau by an exceptional cultural event organized by the Embassy of Romania in Chisinau at the National Art Museum.

The event "Together Through Time" featured a painting exhibition by artist Carmen Marin and a multimedia chamber concert. The event brought together several diplomats and culture people at the Art Museum.

The Romanian Ambassador stressed that the Republic of Moldova is a priority constantly pursued by Romania, including in this new capacity, when it holds the presidency of the EU Council.

"We have proposed that our presidency motto should be cohesion, as a common European value. We want to show this cohesion in all its dimensions: political, economic, social. At the same time, we want to act for a Europe of convergence, for Europe as a global actor, citizen and, last but not least, a Europe of common values," said Daniel Ioniţă, the ambassador of Romania to Chisinau.
