Federica Mogherini: Moldova is a key partner in the Eastern Partnership
The Republic of Moldova is a key partner in the Eastern Partnership, which is why the European Union will closely observe the talks on Government formation. The statement was made by the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini after the meeting of the European Union's Foreign Affairs Council.
"We have expressed some concerns and of course we have agreed to closely watch the formation of the Government and the program it will assume. It is not up to us to enter into talks about coalition and Government formation, but it is our duty to be vigilant if the law is respected and, above all, it respects the Association Agenda with the Republic of Moldova, which is a key partner in the Eastern Partnership, Federica Mogherini said.
