Candidates in elections to the European Parliament promise to back Moldova
Candidates in the elections to the European Parliament promise to back Moldova in terms of economic growth and aspirations of European integration. This was announced by the 2020 USR PLUS Alliance. In a press conference held in Chisinau, Dacian Ciolos promised that the MEPs from the Alliance will back Moldova, Mesager reports.
Among the objectives of the alliance are to regain confidence in Romania's future as part of the European Union, to attract new funds for development and to take on the European experience in health and education.
"Our political project aims at strengthening the relationship between Moldova and Romania, because we cannot imagine Romania's economic and social development without taking into account what is happening on this side of the Prut. For us, a strong Romania in the EU also means a strong and consolidated relationship of the EU with Moldova, a solid relationship between Moldova and Romania, Moldova and the EU go through the pragmatism of economic development, a close and lasting relationship can be set based on solid economic relations", said Dacian Cioloş, co-president of the 2020 USR PLUS Alliance.
The first candidate in the Alliance 2020 USR PLUS is Dacian Cioloş, followed by Cristian Ghinea, Dragoş Nicolae Pislaru, Clotilde Armand and Ioan Dragoş Tudorache.
