Emmanuel Macron wants the restoration of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in record time
French President Emmanuel Macron asked Tuesday night the Notre-Dame Cathedral, affected by a major fire, to be rebuild in no more than five years, informs the Le Figaro daily, according to Mediafax.ro
"Everyone offered what he could, each in his place, each in his role. I say to you tonight: we are a people of constructors. We have so many things to rebuild. (...) We will rebuild the Notre Dame Cathedral and it will be even more beautiful. I want this work to be completed in five years," said Emmanuel Macron.
According to some specialists, Notre-Dame Cathedral, affected by the large-scale fire produced Monday night, could be restored in 10-15 years.
