Alert for tourists traveling to Bulgaria, Greece or Turkey. The bridge over Arges, on DN5, the most used route, closes on Thursday. The access will be forbidden from 11 am, Radio Moldova reports.
Romanian officials say the works could not start earlier because the temporary bridge is ready now with six months of delay.
The works will take about 6 months. Cars will be diverted on another road.
Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bucharest warns Romanians traveling to Greece that for some time, the Greek meteorological service issued a forecast of bad weather, heavy rains, storms, winds in gusts and hail.
