Parliament calls on the Court of Auditors to perform external audit at 4 companies

The Court of Auditors is to carry out the compliance audit on privatization of public property and privatization for 2013-2019. A decision in this regard was adopted today by Parliament. The request of MPs to the Court of Auditors specifically provides for the performance of the audit at 4 companies by 31 December.

„ Under the decision of the Investigation Commission (CI) to analyse how to organise and conduct privatisation and concession of public property starting with 2013, four contracts were approved and namely: Contract public – private partnership for concession of IS Aeroportul International Chisinau; Privatisation Agreement of State Enterprise “Air Moldova”; Contract of public – private partnership on modernising and streamlining the activities of State Enterprise “Garile si Statiile Auto” and Agreement purchase – sale of state – owned shares in SA Tutun – CTC:, said the MP of PPDA Igor Munteanu, president of the Commission for economy, budget and finance.

The decision to audit more privatization contracts for public property of Moldova was taken with majority vote of MPs.
