August 15 - first deadline for the payment of real estate tax
The State Tax Service announces that August 15 is the deadline for the real estate owners to pay the first part of the real estate tax.
Under the provisions of the Fiscal Code of Moldova, the tax on real estate is paid in the budget of the administrative-territorial unit, depending on the location of the real estate, in two equal parts, by August 15 and October 15, respectively.
80% of the owners of real estate paid the real estate tax and the land tax until June 30th. Thus, about 400 million lei were accumulated at the National Public Budget from this type of tax, and the payers benefited from a 15% discount of the total amount calculated.
