Queues at reception and parcel delivery points

On the eve of Easter holidays, queues were formed at the points of reception and delivery of parcels abroad. In addition to sweets and food, Moldovans are also expecting from home appliances and even furniture from the relatives settled abroad. In turn, they send food products that cannot be found in stores abroad: pickles, homemade wine , sheep cheese or favorite candies, Mesager reports.

"We received  sweets and a bicycle for children. We sent meat, lamb and others”. "We receive cakes from Italy and sweets, we also send them sweets, sausage and pickles", say the people.

However, the greatest desire of the Moldovans on the eve of Easter holidays is to be at home.

"Let's all be home, let's celebrate together. My husband is abroad. " "My greatest wish is my children to be my healthy and to come home", said the people.

Drivers say that on Easter eve, the number of parcels sent from abroad has increased significantly. They request a two euro fee per kilogram.
