Travel warning issued for Croatia and Italy

Moldovan citizens who are in or are planning to go to Croatia or Italy have to take into account that the Romanian Foreign Ministry issued a warning of bad weather in these two countries, with rain, storms and low temperature, writes libertatea.ro.

In Croatia, the local Hydro-Meteorological Institute announced wind intensification and low temperatures, especially in the eastern and southern regions of the country. Croatian authorities issued Orange Code  of Storm,  heavy rainfall and wind intensification in the regions of Knin, Istria, Split, Dalmatia and yellow code for Karlovac, Gospic, Rijeka and Dubrovnik. Also, residents were warned of the possibility of malfunctions in the power grid.

In Italy, the Civil Protection Service informed that heavy rains and storms will happen on Tuesday and Wednesday in several regions in the center-north area of ​​the country. A Yellow Code of heavy rain , storms and wind intensification was issued for Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Piedmont, Tuscany and Autonomous Province of Trento.
