Creatures of the master Emil Childescu are exhibited in Chisinau

The most beautiful flowers of spring, sunsets, landscapes from the village hearth and other recent works by master Emil Childescu are exhibited at the "Igor Vieru" Academic School of Fine Arts in the capital. At the opening, the painter promised to return to this institution next week to support a master class and pass on to the young generation the mysteries of pastel art, reports Moldova 1.

Emil Childescu's pastel works were viewed with the attention of future plastic artists.

The exhibitions of the works of the great masters are a permanent at the Igor Vieru Academic School of Fine Arts - a chance for pupils to be closer to authentic art.

"To have direct contact with the personalities of plastic art, such as Childescu. The works are pastel and are very recent, it is an example to follow for our students. They are a school of mastering and continuity of the academic school tradition, which is important for us, first of all, as an educational institution," said Alexandra Clapatiuc, interim director at the Igor Vieru Academic School of Fine Arts.

At the venerable age of 82, the painter remains faithful to the realistic art he promotes among the young.

Born on May 7, 1937 in Sculeni (Ungheni), Emil Childescu made over five thousand works of various genres over the years, exhibited in the most prestigious galleries and his creations are in the patrimony of the museums in the country and abroad.
