US OPEN: Radu Albot stops in the first round after a five-set match

Radu Albot debuted last night at the last Grand Slam of the year - US Open 2019 with a match against German Alexander Zverev, number 6 in the international standings. In the first round of the singles event, the Moldovan athlete gave in the first two sets (1-6, 3-6), but he imposed himself dramatically in the next two sets (6-3 6-4), equaling the score of the match.

According to the Moldovan Tennis Federation, in the decisive set, Albot fails to keep to the end, and Alexander Zverev survives the five-set marathon and is required with the overall score 6:1 6:3 3:6 4:6 6:2. The match lasted three hours and ten minutes.
