Three Moldovan fighters qualify for the World Cup final in Belgrade

Moldovan wrestlers Anastasia Nichita, Mariana Cherdivară and Irina Rîngaci qualified for the World Cup final in Belgrade. All three have won two so far.

According to the National Olympic and Sports Committee, in the 57kg category, Anastasia Nichita definitely defeated the Italian Arianna Carieri and the Turkish Mehlika Ozturk. In the final, Anastasia will meet the Indian Anshu Anshu. Tudor Cîrlan's student is the only Moldovan fighter to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.

In the 59 kg category, Mariana Cherdivara had the Ukrainian Katerina Zelenickh and the Turkish Elif Yanik. In the last act, she will duel with the Russian Svetlana Lipatova.

In the 65 kg category, Irina Rîngaci defeated the Azerbaijani Elis Manolova and the Turkish Asli Demir. In the final, the 19-year-old fighter will meet the Ukrainian Tetiana Rizhko.
