New director appointed at the Civil Aviation Authority

Eugen Coştei is the new director of the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC). The new director was appointed by order of the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Anatol Usatîi.

The new director was selected in a competition announced by the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure (MEI) and was presented to colleagues today by Ana Miron, head of the Air Transport Service within MEI.

Eugen Coştei is an expert in aviation law, participated in the TCB Project of the International Civil Aviation Organization in Kazakhstan. He has also successfully completed several courses at Singapore Aviation Academy, JAA Training Organization, ICAO and has extensive professional experience in civil aviation. He has previously held the position of Director of Euro Aviation Consulting Team LTD, TANDEM AERO and Deputy Director at MoldATSA in 2008-2009.

Eugen Coştei has also been active in the AAC, he was chief specialist at the Directorate of External Relations, head of the Directorate of International Relations and adviser to the ACC director.
