Deputy Chief of the General Police Inspectorate Gheorghe Cavcaliuc resigns

Deputy Chief of the General Police Inspectorate Gheorghe Cavcaliuc resigns. This was announced by Cavcaliuc on his Facebook page, stating that the resignation would take effect on June 17.

" Moldova starts a new stage of modern history and the time will show if  these events are good or bad and these will be judged by our descendants. Police have been, are and will be a pillar of statehood and a guarantor of public safety and order. In our work we must rely on law, devotion, courage and honesty. Over time, the National Police has been subjected to many attempts, but thanks to the experience, professionalism and wisdom of the police force across the country, it has been possible to successfully achieve  set objectives, and to guarantee every citizen's safety. I want to get involved in politics and to create a new political party, for the benefit of the Republic of Moldova, for the successors of our descendants", wrote Gheorghe Cavcaliuc.

Gheorghe Cavcaliuc was appointed Deputy Chief of the General Police Inspectorate in 2014.
