Five consecutive weeks of rise in the number of coronavirus cases in Moldova

Moldova registered, for the fifth consecutive week, three thousand new cases of coronavirus contamination. According to the data presented by the Ministry of Health in the last seven days, the daily average was 517 contaminations, the balance of infections reached 46 thousand 596 cases, informs Moldova 1.

Most diseases were recorded on September 18 - 665 infections and 688 on September 19. The increase in infections has increased alarmingly in Chisinau and in the Transnistrian region.

At the same time, last week 80 people died of the virus, another weekly record since the beginning of the pandemic. Among the victims were two hundred medical workers.

On the other hand, during this period, over three thousand Moldovans were cured. Since the beginning of the pandemic crisis, more than 34,000 people were treated.
