The farmers' protest continues
After coming to Chisinau with agricultural equipment yesterday, the farmers continue their peaceful protest today on the Hânceşti road in the capital.
TRM.MD recalls that several farmers from Causeni and Stefan Voda went to Chisinau yesterday afternoon to protest.
Farmers say that the money the authorities are willing to pay, namely over a thousand lei for every hectare of land affected by the drought, would not be enough. The producers demand subsidies amounting to three thousand lei and the declaration of the state of emergency in agriculture for the southern part of the country.
On the other hand, the authorities urge farmers to differentiate between political promises and the real situation.
