Swimming pools resume their activity

Swimming pools can resume their activity, according to the decision of the Extraordinary National Commission for Public Health, which met today.

Following the analysis of the current epidemiological situation, as well as the assessment of the level of compliance with public health measures, the members of the commission decided that, starting with Monday, August 10, the swimming pools can resume their activity.

The administrators of these recreational areas will have to strictly follow the pandemic operating instructions announced by the Commission.

Therefore, the cleanliness and frequent disinfection of the recreational area must be strictly observed, the number of visitors to the swimming pool must not exceed 50% of the maximum capacity, the flow must be well managed to avoid congestion, and before entering the territory subject to epidemiological triage, reads a Government statement.

Depending on the evolution and trend of the epidemiological situation, the restrictive measures will be reviewed.
