The markets in Chisinau and Balti have resumed their activity

The markets in Chisinau and Balti resumed their activities today, but the administrators were obliged to ensure drastic compliance with measures to prevent mass infections, including: periodic disinfection of refrigeration equipment, storage and marketing of products, counters and the entire territory, but also the mandatory wearing of masks and gloves by traders. In some pavilions in the Central Square, in the morning, crowds of people were caught. In this context, the mayor of the capital, Ion Ceban, warned that those who will not respect the rigors imposed by the authorities will be severely sanctioned, Moldova 1 reports.

"On the one hand, we want you to activate, buyers to have better prices than in stores, but public health remains the first priority in this regard. I also ask for the support of the police, that fines be imposed, and that trade be allowed only in the market and only in authorized places, keeping all the recommendations and regulations that we talked about a lot in the last week," declared the mayor Ion Ceban.
