Over 170 thousand disadvantaged families will benefit from material aid
Over 170 thousand underprivileged families will benefit from material aid for the cold period of the year. Following the amendments made in the legislative acts, the amount of the aid increased from 350 to 500 lei per month. The money is paid between November and March, reports Radio Moldova.
According to the National Social Insurance House (CNAS), the amount of over 85 million lei has been transferred to the payment service providers. Also, the transfer for social assistance amounting to about 39 million lei was made for 44 thousand beneficiaries.
The financial support granted for the cold period of the year and the social aid are established by the territorial structures of social assistance. CNAS urges the beneficiaries of social benefits to raise from the payment service providers the money due until December 26, current year.
