Chisinau to be quarantined

If the number of cases confirmed with COVID-19 continues to increase in the capital, Chisinau could be quarantined. This was announced by the head of state, Igor Dodon, in the show "Presedintele Raspunde", Radio Moldova reports.

"We do not want Chisinau to go into quarantine, because here is the activity of several types of economic agents, banks, the quarantine situation would make it much more difficult for these enterprises, as well as the state institutions. I really hope we don't get to the situation that Chisinau will go into quarantine, but it depends on the situation. If we see irresponsible people walking in the streets, we will have to quarantine. That is why be responsible, follow the rules imposed by the authorities ”, said Igor Dodon.

We remind that in Moldova there are 505 cases confirmed with COVID -19, of which 199 are in Chisinau.
